Factories that generate hate, tubes that carry hate into homes, a society alienated by television, the villain’s Big Brother-like controlling eye, and the “Weirdos” in jail… This is the context in which “Nose” unfolds, starring an egotistical villain who loses his Nose and it begins to take on a life of its own. “Nose: Breathing Rebellion” is a personal reinterpretation of Nikolai Gogol’s satirical short story “The Nose” written in 1836. We talk about current hate speech, how hate penetrates society, about the new egocentric and obviously villainous leaders, about the communicative responsibility of TV, about the recent attack on who is different, and all of this told in a metaphorical way. There are references to “The Brood” (Cronenberg), “Modern times” (Chaplin) or “1984” (Orwell), Malevich, Tatlin and El Lissitzky. And we focused on having great electronic music composers such as Rival Consoles, Bronquio and Paloma Peñarrubia for the OST of our video game.
