With 435 submissions from 78 countries, the 15th international A MAZE. Awards received more entries from more locations than ever before competing for 7 awards and the Audience Award. We are very excited to present the 33 nominations and 16 honorable mentions from 33 countries covering innovative performances, digital poems, wild and cultural experiences, personal stories as well as stunning game worlds and works of interactive media art. The final jury will now select their categories and reveal the winners at the Award Show on May 15th.
This Award highlights games from women and gender marginalized developers, and awards 2.000€ to the chosen winner. To be considered for this award, games must be made by teams with women or gender marginalized developers in key positions. WINGS is proud to offer funding and opportunities to amplify voices less heard in the games industry.
This award by the Körber-Stiftung is looking for extraordinary XR projects which use new media to explore history, historical narration, and commemorative culture. Winners receive 2000€ prize money. Nominees will be part of a panel and all accomodation and travel is covered.
